Prosecutors on Tuesday raided ex-South Chungcheong Province Governor An Hee-jung's office and official residence to look for evidence of allegations that An repeatedly raped his secretary.

Prosecutors said they will summon An for questioning again now that another woman has come forward alleging that he sexually assaulted her. The second woman worked for a political think tank An set up and plans to file charges this week.

Meanwhile, a rape-victim support group held a press conference in front of the National Assembly on Tuesday and said that more women have alleged that An sexually assaulted them.

It vowed to file charges against individuals who attack the victims online by "doxing" or other means.

Some trolls have accused the secretary, Kim Ji-eun, of being partially responsible for the rapes, which she said took place over a period of more than a year.
